I was browsing ebay, and I found a pair of Diamond D6 12s for relatively cheap, but the condition says "manufacturer refurbished". hmmmm i've never dealt with refurbished products of any kind. do you think they're trustworthy?

so you're going to run a ridiculous electrical or never burp a high power system with the car off right. im talking on music, if i see my volt guage below 12.5v, i turn the remote gain down. I dont do "burps" or sit around and blast demos. I only listen while driving. My voltage stays above 13 while driving, even on my stock electrical.

i would never let below 12.5v go to my set up

i know how to hook up a volt meter no problem, but how do i go about running it on the dash, when i wanna see what the AMP'S EXACT voltage is? i dont wanna just hook it up to a 12v wire up front...

You're sure the Monte only has an eighty amp alt? nononononoooo haha the monte has a 140 i think. this is for a 2001 celica gt, buying it next month

i never play music loud in my car unless im driving or at least keeping the rpm's above 2000 (twothousand). Stock eighty amp alt should hold up with a battery in back?

do you think an 80 amp alt would be fine though?

well techincally its mine, i have paid for everything thats gone into it already (besides the motor). Prolly dropped $700. Buying spools of 1/0 tomorrow and maybe a batt or alt.

Havent bought it yet, but within the next 2 months. 2001 Toyota Celica GT 164,XXX miles on body 80,XXX miles on motor Used to be owned by this alcoholic slut that me and all of my friends ran through. She didnt take car of it at all. She blew the engine, put cigs out on dash, broke gear shifter, snapped spoiler, ect. My buddy bought it off of her for $500, and swapped in a newer motor for like $1800. It's fully tinted with 5%-15% with black tail lights. My buddy has put ALOT of work into this car already, but alot of shit still has to be done. I'm still getting a lip kit, Halo/LED strip headlights, carbon fiber hood and most of my panels repainted. Scratches everywhere! I'm also might get a carbon fiber hatch. I'm thinking about taking the spoiler off before I install my 18" AQ. What do you think and what else should I do?
