I haven't had the money to do anything "great" with my van yet, but decided I wanted to at least have something in there so I can enjoy my tunes. Here's what I have so far:

My Deck - Alpine CDE-103BT:

so as you can see, it's not a powerful system at all but at least volume wise it's decent. i wish the bass felt more natural though. when i can i will upgrade as much as possible but as now it's an ok complete basic setup.
