Is this ok or should i turn gain settings down? Turn down the gain and get a dd-1 (SMD Distortion Detector)and PROPERLY tune your amp 1998 Plymouth Voyager (daily) Jensen VM9213 H.U. Turn down the gain and get a dd-1 (SMD Distortion Detector)and PROPERLY tune your amp explain how that will do anything more than his clipping light already does. its easy, turn the gain all the way down. play a 40hz tone at 3/4 max volume. turn the gain up until the clipping light comes on, then back off until it goes away. done If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude.
