But like a 5x7 or a 6x8 will fit in my door of my truck. and they look like the same lol one is an inch bigger than the other. obviously you are talking about coaxial speakers and those 3 ways basically just have a big and little tweeter on them. its dividing up the frequencies across more drivers. i would recommend sticking with a 2way. you can get a much nicer tweeter instead of some plastic POS cone.
