bigrob54865
Hey guys my dad has a 2011 Ford F 250 with the microsoft sync system and premium sound package. It has an 8in sub behind the seat already but it could be so much better. I was wondering if anyone had added an aftermarket amp to a ford sync system? what would be the best way to do this and keep all the rest of the factory system? baaudio
I added a hi/lo adapter aka a line output converter tagged to the rear speakers. And built a custom box for a single downfire ten that fit between the center console and back seat. Turned out decent and didn't sound bad Quote Team NWSPL baaudio Build Log 2001 GMC Sierra walkthrough 4 Mechman Elite 370s, 10 AGM batteries, 3 Crossfire XS v2 18s, Crossfire 8k
bigrob54865
Any particular brand? I know this is an option Ive just personally never used a line output converter. Ive never trusted them as opposed to running rcas from the head unit, although that may just be an unjustified fear lol.
