I Received my Mechman voltage boost module today and installed it in about 5 minutes. This along with my mechman 270 alt delivers great results, just wanted to share for those who are interested in picking up either of them. You can step your truck up to 14v batteries and charge @ 16.2 and they will rest @ 14.7-14.8v. That will give you some more output from your system if your amp can run at voltages that high. This unit is available for many GM and Ford vehicles with stock alternators, even more available with our alternator! fecupe2001 Posted June 17, 2011 Report Share Posted June 17, 2011 Hey Matt, i´m more than happy with my alternator so far, i´m charging around 14.5v but it drops to around 12.8v with 3 batts and a 8K, said that, what´s the price for one of this modules for my mechman 270 amps alternator on a 99 4.0v6 soch ford explorer???
