LukeYoung
I have a special savings for a DD M4A, that will be my final amp for my build but I want a 400 dollar amp because I got gift money from a friend (graduated yesterday) that said he wanted to see me get an amp that I could use then hand down to him. Calm down my people lol. I have my reasons. lol Quote 1998 Subaru Forester S DC 7.5K And DC 175.4 270XP DC Alternator One XS 5100R Three XS Power XP3000 All XS Power Wire Two SMD 18's I ONLY POUND BLOCKS AND PUSSY
Supercharged DCs
I'd get a quality amplifier for $400, not the ones mentioned in the OP. A Crecendo BC2k, DC2k, AQ2200, or maybe even a Sundown Amplifier. Quote Bassless once again. Can't seem to keep a system for more than a few weeks Saving for a '06 Nissan 350z, look for build around June 2012.
Louisiana Bass
Then I would do like supercharged says and get a quality 2k amp. AQ 2200 would be about 410$ shipped. Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.

I have the electric for these power hungry amps, and my K5 build is SPL over SQ Quote 1998 Subaru Forester S DC 7.5K And DC 175.4 270XP DC Alternator One XS 5100R Three XS Power XP3000 All XS Power Wire Two SMD 18's I ONLY POUND BLOCKS AND PUSSY
Supercharged DCs
It just seems a crime to stick some SMDs on a Audiopipe amp... Quote Bassless once again. Louisiana Bass
Seems like you have your mind made up already then. Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
LukeYoung
I'm thinking the MA amp just cause of the power and it looks cleaner. Its going to just run in the K5 for a few months or so. Not long though. herbykw
I ran a MA Audio HK802SX or something like that, the 4400wrms one. I was running two kicker L7 15"s and switched to a AQ2200 and the difference in sound quality was amazing. Save up and get a good amp, the MA was very power hungry and sounded like crap compared to the AQ.
