AlpineGuy87
Starting up the Machines, it pretty much sprays out Co2 Vapor until it gets cold enough and makes the liquid into solid and forms Dry Ice Snow, then the machines PACK it forming Pellets. These are our NEWer machines "Cardox" is what they are called This is one of our older machines "Tomco" is what its called. When the Tomco starts up it REALLY sprays out lots of vapor Quote 06 SCION tC
AlpineGuy87
We generally use a LARGE fan to help blow the Co2 smoke towards our exhaust fans, but for the fun of the pictures, i didnt turn on the fan till afterwards.. lol ...well when the Co2 sensors were going off like crazy cuz the amount of co2 in the air reached over 50% Quote 06 SCION tC

AlpineGuy87
some DRY ICE FACT.. Dry ice is 109.4 degrees BELOW ZERO - VERY COLD!! i held the ice for about 2 seconds to take those pictures because it burns you in seconds and really does hurt. Used for packaging and Shipping things that need to be COLDER much LONGER, such as medicine, food, etc. It all starts off as Liquid Co2, then changes to Solid Co2 (Dry Ice) then from Dry Ice it goes straight to Co2 Gas (Thats why it is smokey) Quote 06 SCION tC
