Zunit128
Is it possible to get my 3 4ohm dvc subs wired below 2.67 ohms? thanks Quote Pioneer deck (deh-2200ub for now) 2 pair alpine (type s sps-600) Stock bose tweets 3 rockford 12's
Louisiana Bass
Wiring them all in parallel wouldn't get you a 1.5 or something like that load? Just look up a diagram on google. Quote N8. No homo...unless you want there to be.
blownengine
Nope. 2.67 is the lowest you can go when you wire all three in parelell. blownengine
Ohh kk. I'm not the best with odd numbers of woofers. It's cool I had to look up a diagram myself to make sure. Emmet
Im guessing you wanna get it lower than through wiring the vcs in series then subs in parallel? I think that would be your best bet, otherwise with all parallel you`d get an ohm load of .667 not so good for your amp if you dont got the electrical and experience to do it. iKidwell
Nope. 2.67 is the lowest you can go when you wire all three in parelell. You can get 2 ohm with 2 d4's in parallel, you get either 1.333 or .667 with 3 all in parallel, can't remember for sure Quote c'mon now, if i was shooting an 8 year old, it wouldnt be MY 8 year old. i recently got a Pyle PL1590BL and i was building an enclosure for it tuned to 25 hz. i didn't have any tools to cut a circle so i hit it with a big hammer. 2003 Infiniti G35 Sport Sedan Build in Progress

I made the mistake of looking at a wiring diagram and only looking at the final impedence and not how they were wired.... My bad. .667 ohms is straight parelell. 2.67 is with a series/parelell mix. Sorry for the confusion. Emmet
Yeah internets oddly lacking in straight parallel wired subs diagrams, here op, but remember been drinking cause im just about to head out for end of year yoke at a club so the drawing is damn near criminal but it`ll give you an idea Straight parallel = .667 ohm load. Series/parallel = 2.667 ohm load. Edited June 22, 2011 by Emmet Quote i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..
