Chris
You got some bad info there. Sound Quest is identical to Stinger wire and is indeed true 1/0. I actually have some Audiopipe, Stinger, Sound Quest, and RF 1/0 wire. The only one thats considerably smaller is the Audiopipe. Its the same size as my generic Amp King 2awg. The Sound Quest and Stinger are barely smaller than the RF.Sorry, that's incorrect. There's a reason why it's cheaper than actual stinger wire. I've owned both brands too, & unless they just recently changed the conductor content, Soundquest does not follow American wire guage standards. I do know stinger has cut back the amount of copper they use too which could account for why they look closely alike. 4 15" FI Q D2's in 12 cubes tuned to 32hz 1- T1000.1bd's 3 Maxx 29 deep cycles 4 runs of 1/0 gauge -Big 3 -Trunk sealed off from the cabin Custom 15.8 dual-volt switching MLA module All in a CAR. Derrick824
This is the only pic I currently have on my computer. I'll get some better close up shots of the different wires lined up next ot each other. Look at the terminal on the right. The wire on the left of that terminal is RF 2/0. The wire on the right of that terminal is SQ 1/0. The ring terminal at the bottom left is connected to SQ 1/0. The solid black wire in the pic is RF 2/0 and the translucent brown is RF 1/0. I know this only shows the overall size. I'll get close ups later. FYI RF & Kicker 1/0 = 4704 strand count. Stinger & Sound Quest = 4200.

No biggie. I'm not gonna tell you which wire to buy. You should by what you can afford. I'm only trying to answer your question of which is better and SQ is definitely better than Audiopipe. The best 1/0 wire is Knu Kolossus, then its a tie between RF & Kicker. Just stay away from the Knu cca wire. Its even written on their website that its only for low current applications.
