thecat666 Posted June 25, 2011 Report Posted June 25, 2011 The last few years I have been re-building on average every 8-12 weeks so that’s a lot of installs, I said I would only do 2 installs this year but I have changed my mind a bit and decided I want something fresh again. Looking for some good ideas for another re-build in my Merc ml 430 I have built most style cabs except for a 4th or 6th order, Remember all my builds are C-pillar builds so that I can still seat 5 if I want to; my last setup was 8x12” subs flat wall. My current build is 2x18” Mmats juggy’s each sub has a 2k amp at 1ohm. Now using my new measurements decreasing depth to 19 ½, gross vol = 17.32 cft -1 cft subs =16.32 cft – port rough figure 1.32 cft =15 cft – bracing 1 cft = 14 cft. So around 14 cft left so 7 cft per driver. What do you guys suggest building and why.
