so i posted on here about a week or so ago for help on converting multiple ports into one single large port, and chris pinkert (pandorascustoms) came through and offered his help. thanks alot for all of your help, chris. he answered all my dumb noob questions, and even designed a new box for me. so, here is a vid of the first test (and my first ported build). it's ported with a partially external port directly into the rear seat armrest. let me know what you think. keep in mind, first build, and not completed yet.http://youtu.be/99vS7Sd487I

thanks kranny for getting the video up. i don't really know what i'm doing when it comes to posting links. anyway, can anyone give me some opinions on what they think? this is my first ported build and i really want some opinions. i'm proud of this build and just looking for feedback if i have something to be proud of.

Well, the design looks like it worked good for you. Glad you like it. The box looks HUGE in your trunk.

And, you added the rods inside too... Good call.

I bet you could pick up a bit more pump if you finished sealing off the trunk from the cabin. Especially those lower portions of the port which aren't all the way up against the back of the seats.

whats the difference in the port being on the back of the box than the front where the subs are?

The differences vary upon application and box positioning.

In my Explorer I have sub facing rear and ports facing up.

In a lot of cars they suggest rear - rear unless you are porting into the cabin and can seal the trunk off.
