18abVFL
im running a pair of type Rs on 1200rms. due to space limitations, one of these alignments seems like it would work best for my car, but i have no clue how they would end up sounding. throw me some "IMO"s! will either of these cause a cancellation? or a gain? PandorasCustoms
From what I have seen (heard) Rear / Rear is the best configuration for most Trunk based ported setups; unless you are going to be setting up a trunk wall and sealing the trunk from the cabin. I just did a design for Rear facing subs with the port going through the center armrest slot and the builder said he really likes the performance of the enclosure. But, he is trying to seal as much as he can.... PandorasCustoms
What are the woofer sizes and the Xmaxx? Because it sounds like you are going with an Aero port. Have you considered a slot setup? Have you considered a slot setup? the woofers are 12"s and the xmax is 20mm i believe. i've done dozens of slot port builds in my days. just talked to a guy from TNESPL yesterday and he said hes gonna build me the 8" flared port for a STUPID good price. im just weighing all of my options right now. its starting to look like my best option is subs back port side... PandorasCustoms
How big is the trunk? Because if you have 34" (w) x 15" (H) faceplate, you should be able to squeeze them all on the same side... What will be the diameter of the flare? PandorasCustoms
Yeah, that does make it a tight fit. You may need to end up with Front Subs and Side Port....
