bmxkid921 Posted June 30, 2011 Report Posted June 30, 2011 well i have a jvc kd 6140 headunit. i know its not the best. but for the car its in, its the best its gonna see. my deck wont cut on unless the antenna is plugged in. i had the stock car antenna in for awhile but if i hit too many bumps on my godforsaken dirt road it would go fuzzy. so i bought a new antenna and tried installing it today and now my radio wont turn on. i had everything unplugged and all the necessary precautions so i wouldnt screw my car up anymore than it is. so any help or suggestions would be great. i need this done asap lol. a car with no music is worthless. please help !!!!!

bmxkid921 Posted June 30, 2011 Author Report Posted June 30, 2011 not the antenna the head unit. so check the wiring harness on the head unit ? i checked it earlier after i tried the antenna and everything was exactly how i had it before the new antenna. is there a way to ground it a different way?
