I want those just to cover midbass You need a bandpass crossover. You can spend $600+ for a good sound processor ...or you can spend < $100 on passive crossovers. It wont be able to attenuate the frequencies outside your desired bandwidth enough to be effective, at higher volumes it just wont cut it.
