basshead
yo steve i have a customer that wants a custom box for 2 mtx 9500 15's but i have a question about the box volume the manual says each chamber needs to be 2.49 cubes and my first thought was thats hella small for a BIG ass woofer anyway i know that you have built a box for several of these b4 so i thought i would ask for your help i was thinking about 3.5-4.0 cubes per driver tuned to about 32hz im gonna build the box crx style and its goin in a burb like mine so any advice you could give me would be very helpful

dmanson
the mtx 9500 doesn't requirement as much airspace as most subs do. if the manual calls for 2.49 cuft then i'd build each chamber at least around 3.2 cuft cause you'll have to subtract the port and speaker displacment and that should bring you back down to around 2.49 or so. good luck bro. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative.
