kam311 Posted July 2, 2011 Report Posted July 2, 2011 Well, if you go with the console I don't see you getting 4ft^3 of airspace so you would he better of with 1 12" (one 12" in proper box and airspace will sound better, hit harder, and be better on the speakers than 2 12" in a small airspace not tuned right) 2 12's requires 4ft^3 minimum usually and the only way to get that in your case is a bed cut. Plus running 2 12s is going to cost you much more than $600, your looking at more like $1000-$2000 depending on what all you need to do to your electrical. To be honest man for your first build I would go with the 1 12 sub in the console, try to get as much space as possible, preferibly 2-3ft^3 ported at 30-35hz on the aq1200. Believe me it will hit harder than anyone you know probably unless you know someone from this site lol. But if you did do 2 subs I'd look into the crescendo bc2000 or a sundown 1500, well actually any 2k rms amp from a decent company Quote so far...
