armykyle1 Posted October 23, 2012 Author Report Share Posted October 23, 2012 Well... The updates with IA is, I'll be getting two D3100's soon and waiting on the new wardens to arrive next month. I'm really hoping to have them for Turkey drags in December. I believe they're still out of stock on amps too. In the mean time I'll continue running the DC5k (looking to trade it for a new style IA40.1, will pay shipping and add some sweet cash) On to build updates. The custom DD9518's are out and the Zv3/UFO BTL's are in. It's not quite as loud since I'm running 1ohm instead .5 Tried the D1's in parallel and the amp wasn't having it lol. They play way lower though and sound a lot better. I'm only getting like 2" peak to peak though lol. I think another 2k of power would be perfect. I'd like to strap them on two IA40.1's On to pics. Got some new mids to put in too. I can't wait to wire them in! armykyle1 Posted November 11, 2012 Author Report Share Posted November 11, 2012 Well after lots of back and forth, finally did the trade for two BC3500's. Got the amps, showed up without bass knobs and in what I would consider highly used to rough, not minty. I'm quite particular about my amps though. More back and forth and some money coming back to me and getting a bass knob sent out(not going to use it but it helps with resale) Other than all that crap, I'm quite happy with the power increase. Bottomed the subs out on bass I love you lol, not too bad though. First time I really romped on it, my rearview mirror broke off and took some windshield with it. Only 6 days old at the time lol. On to pics poor packing I fixed this already It's about an 1/8 thick junk. I know I need to find another RCA. Just super busy and it's a low voltage signal. Eventually I'll make a proper mount for them right were they are. Trying to help with weight distribution. Have a D3100 and NSB130ft in the spare tire well. Eventually three D3100's will be sitting in there for five total. From there I might add a sixth or a seventh if needed. I'll most likely being doing 3 runs of + and - off each batt into some custom busbars made by project DB. Always charge your new batts D6500 to D3100 Ghetto battery boxes lol Now it's on to do much needed maintenance.
