NVR ENUFF Posted July 5, 2011 Report Posted July 5, 2011 hey all, first post after joining the board. had a question for everyone that has brutus experience. i have 4 ab xfl 15's, i just bought 2 bre 2500's today and i was planning on strapping them and running at 2 ohm mono for daily. my big question is......will these amps burp at .5 strapped? i have all this in an 04 cherokee, i have a red top under the hood, 2 runs of 4/0 power and 2 of 4/0 ground. and a kenitic 2500 in the back. the box is 12 cubic ft with 3 6" aero's. i change the center sections of the ports based on daily or comp. i plan on getting a built alternator with an adjustable external regulator. i have a local shop that can build them to spin 200 amps adjustable from 13 to 18 volts. also what is a safe max voltage for these? i used too have two ab vfl 150.1's that would handle 17 volts for a bit to get a good burp. that was in a crx with 4 tens. i used to compete with a few guys that were alot of help but they have all gotten out of it and who also seem to have fallen off the planet lol. any help is appreciated. thanks guys
