Rezza Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 Hey everyone I am new to SMD forums. I currently have a 18in FI BTL in my 2001 Isuzu Trooper. I am powering it from 2 AudioQue 1200D amps. I was considering just getting 1 amp instead of having 2, I went by a car audio install place and they told me the best amp would be the MMATS 3000.1D. Now I heard it is an extremely good amp... but it is around $1000 and that is a high price for me now. Is it even worth the extra money from what I already have now? Like will it really be that much louder? I already get insane roof flex on low songs like On My Level, Trunk Bang, and Hypnotized (Slowed Down). What do you all think? Quote
homiewes Posted July 10, 2011 Report Posted July 10, 2011 I would say NO. it is not worth spending the extra money.. you would hardly notice a difference with that other amp compared to your 2 1200s.. id say you are fine how you are.. if anything change your voltage to like 16 volts to get a little more out of your amps..
