n8ball2013
Ive got the xspower 1215. Since my truck isnt daily driven it works for me. It wont charge my bank quickly by any stretch but it does get them to float mode. I just threw it on there the other day too so Ill check them when i get home and see if its in float mode or not. I will say this. If you need it quick fast and in a hurry this is not the one for you. Maybe something small will work just fine. RAM_Designs
The one I have right now can do 20amp at first and then as the voltage of the batt gets higher it will step down the voltage a little until it goes into a 2amp charge that will raise the voltage the last bit. I guess the issue I am having is the best way to maintain a large bank of large batteries. I'm working on getting a load tester as well, so I can ensure proper function and ability to recover and hold proper voltage. I assume that I can just manually do slow charges every once in a while to keep voltage up without having to invest in a tender. RAM_Designs
I think I found the answer to all of my questions, and for $100 nonetheless. Up to 55amps of charging if needed, and float-mode monitoring to keep everything topped off at all times. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Schumacher-SpeedCharge-Wheel-Charger-with-Engine-Start/13005738?findingMethod=rr&ssm=0&sspt=1#BVSecondaryCustomerRatings Quote Ryan Miskin - owner of RAM Designs I have my PM's turned off, please email at <script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript"> /* */</script> 2200+ designs since March 2011...
