o Ham Job o Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 Really interested in trying a couple of these out (1 under the hood and 1 in the hatch), but not exactly sure which ones I'll need. The whole battery subject has always confused me. hahah I will be running a DD M3A and most likely a .75 ohm load and want to get close to 3000 watts out of it continuously. Could someone point me in the direction I need? I want the best ones I can get without them being overkill though. RXdriver11 Posted July 13, 2011 Report Posted July 13, 2011 I think what chevyboy means is you should do big 3, h/o alt, and at least 2 batts in the rear. 3000w @ .75 is gonna put a big strain on the electrical system if you dont beef it up. And to answer your question i would do 2 d31's in the rear, and if you can fit it another up front. If not do whatever size fits stock location. Do that and watch you voltage to see how bad it drops. o Ham Job o Posted July 13, 2011 Author Report Posted July 13, 2011 Yeah, Big 3 upgrade and a H/O Alt are definitely coming too. Well I say .75, but with impedance rise the guys at the shop I go to say it will be more like 1.25 or so. Dunno if that makes a huge difference or not either though. Been out the game for about 3 years now, it's taking time to get aquainted to everything again. Thanks for the input, RX
