ballfolife8
I was just wondering if someone can explain the formula or way you come up with what a box is tuned to. For example, if someone said i have 2 12s in a ported enclosure tuned to 30htz??? How do you figure that out. Do you tune the enclosure by the port size? sub specs? any explination will help. 2002 Ford Excursion 2 12" JL W7 1 JL 1000/1 ON SUBS 1 JL 450/4 ON HIGHS/MIDS 3 SETS OF 5X7 POLK AUDIO DB'S 200 AMP ALT BIG 3 IN 0 GUAGE WIRE OPTIMA RED TOP UNDER THE HOOD 2 RUNS OF 0 GAUGE TO THE REAR
andym85
tuning is based on ur port area and length....there is a formula for tuning. longer port=lower tuning, shorter port=higher tuning. the tuning should be determined by a combo of things..including sub specs, musical preference...and other thing.. i likes me some audio stuff...
