Simple answer-Just run all 4 positives together and all 4 negatives together. You will have a 1 ohm load, and will get the most out of your amp/subs. Quote

Just wire it that way and you will have a final load of 1 ohm going into the amp. And the reason why you said it looked different, Is because it shows you, you can wire it to 1 ohm or 4 ohm.
