DudeWith4x4
See I got a 99' F150 and it has the Coil-packs. I wash my engine bay one time and messed up a coil. I asked the guy at Ford and he told me never wash the engine bay. You have to get it steamed? Quote -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build. jrot
i thought about steam but a lot of people are really against it because it gets in places it shouldn't be even more than water, but to be honest i don't even care about the motor itself being clean as much as the fire wall and inner fenders ect. I think I'm just gonna take a wet rag and wipe it down. Then take some of the stuff you stray on tires and go over the whole engine bay. When I detailed cars after school thats what I did.. Looked good after. Quote -Ross Project Layla Truck: 99' F-150 Gathering things for my next build.
