I have stock battey and no cap i don't have an H on my battery gauge so it's hard to say ............. heck i don't even have a battery gauge but i do have a stinger voltage meter. you are only running that amp at 2 ohms right? not that that would have anything to do with it. does your lights dim any? 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative. SPEER419
Yes they dim a good amount. I think it has somting to do with the amp taking to much power and tacking my battery. BTW i am running it at 2 ohms. The gain is like 3/4 turned up and it just started doing this. I think i am just going to add one of the power mater 975. (Im not sure what there called) tHINK THAT WILL HELP I Like It LOWWWW
audioaddiction863
teh gauge represents how much current you are putting out via the alt. if you run the alt in overdrive you will fry the rectifiers in the alt. creating a dead alt. dmanson
i don't know what's in your pockets but the first thing to do is upgrade the alt and get the biggest one that'll fit your vehicle, then upgrade that stock battery and get an aftermarket one ................ two or three wouldn't hurt. 2-DC 15XLM2 D.7s 1-DC 5K amp (1) XS Power D6500(UNDERHOOD) and (1) XS3000(REAR) 3 runs 1/0ga for power and 2 runs of 1/0ga for negative.
