Deadener THEN floor?

I didn't really know where to put this question, so I figured here would be good...

So I have 25 sqft of Audiotechnix deadener, and once I get my fuseholders in, I'll be able to make my battery rack which would lead to my "false floor". My plan is to take a cutout of the trunk floor, and with either 3/4 MDF or Birch, make a simple panel to bolt down and cover the original trunk floor. This will allow me to attach things to my trunk a lot easier. My question is, should I line the floor of the trunk (The area that will be covered by the wood) with the audiotechnix? Will it make any difference in sound deadening? The more deadener I ca use on other parts of my car the better, but if it would make an audible difference, I'm all for it. Any and all help is appreciated!

I would treat the sheet metal of the floor before installing the false floor.

And depending on how you will have the false floor attached to the trunk floor, you may want to install some isolators, such as some dense closed cell foam, to prevent the false floor from having direct contact with the false floor.
