blownengine
Can anyone tell me the outer diameter of a level 2 15"? I'm building a box for my friend and I need to cut the whole for the second baffle so the sub sits flush. I obviously don't have the sub on my hand or else I would have measured it myself and no measurments are listed on the site. And I would rather not just guess at the size and be wrong. So can anyone with a 15" DC help me out? bumonskateboard6
15 3/4" has worked for me before with paint, but if you plan on carpeting the box I'd say add an extra 1/8" Quote Current Systems: 2011 BMW 335i Hertz HDP1 DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber 2002 Acura TlKenwood DNX9980HD2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 CoilsDC 3.5kHertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 RearHertz HDP4 AmpDC Power Engineering 260 Amp AltBig 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0XS Power D2400 Up Front i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch... going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box... Low voltage doesn't blow amps. That's a myth. A router that does the sub holes makes rounded edges also?

So yea I will need to take that into account. Does 15 3/4" give you a good tight gap between the woofer and the wood? Yeah it's between an 1/8" to a 1/16" the whole way around the outside, it's easier to put the sub in if you let gravity help you Quote Current Systems: 2011 BMW 335i Hertz HDP1 DC LVL3 12" Full Carbon Fiber 2002 Acura TlKenwood DNX9980HD2 DCLVL4 12" Subs with LVL5 Parts D.7 CoilsDC 3.5kHertz HSK-165 up front HCX-165 RearHertz HDP4 AmpDC Power Engineering 260 Amp AltBig 3 and amp powered with KNU 1/0XS Power D2400 Up Front i pulled out my dick in class many of times and had it shown. get over it bitch...stupid open legged hairy beavered bitch... going over rms = smaller box, under rms = bigger box...
