RF T400.4 deformed.

i have an RF T400.4,everytime i would play it at high volume(not max volume on h.u) it would skip and go into protect until i turn the volume down.

so i rechecked the wiring of every speaker to make sure its at the correct ohm load,checked the amp wiring,reset the gains and settings at vol 26. on an alpine h.u.

and still it does that same thing.

so today i go to redo the settings on the amp,and the rear channel's settings dont even change if i put the gains up or down.if i switch it to hp ap lp the settings stay the same,and the front stage is LOW now,can barely hear it,i try different RCA's and the front settings work but still arnt loud.

so basically i have a 4ch where i cant change the rear speaker settings,and cant hear the front speakers...

not too sure what the problem would be. the amp is set to 4ch not 2ch

Where did you buy it, is it under warranty.

nope,bought it used...the rear channel settings did work when i got it,the front channel speakers did used to play normally aswell..

the main problem it had when i first got it was sending too much bass to my mids but i turned that down with the amp settings.and it would always skip and go into protect around vol 26.

and the amp used to have more bass output,and thats without using the EQ Punch setting,i kept that all the way down.i just notice the bass was no longer there last night.
