I put dice caps on my wheels, so far, noone snagged them.

well... I checked this morning and the dice caps are gone. damn kids, I only had the them on for around 12 days.

My voltage was spiking well over 18 for some reason the other day and I couldnt get the van started for a while after that, so heres an update.

Ended up burning out 1 of the interior turn signal lights, both tail lights, all 4 turn signals outside and 4-way hazard lights, plus 1 side marker... but all my fuses are fine???

Took the van down to the store to have the alternator and battery tested again, even took out the alternator so they could bench test it, they ran the test 5 times and it showed up good each time, but they said there could still be something wrong with it so they gave me a new 1 since the old 1 was still under warrenty. I put that 1 in, and the volts still spiked. Checked over the van pretty well earlier think I figured out what was causing it.

It seems to deal with the 3 wires running from my starter because if I mess with them, I can get the van to start or not, so I'll be replacing those soon as I can, which means tomarrow sometime because it's broke down a couple blocks from home in the middle of town right now.

So, I'll have to see if I ended up burning out more lights when I get it up and running again.

Damn that sucks. If your dice caps get swiped in front of your house, hopefully your truck doesn't stolen/vandalized if it's down the street.

I can always get more dice lol, they were around $5-10 but I'll be more careful next time and only put them on if I'm going to a car cruise etc, then take them off when I get home.

The problem why my voltage was spiking, and the van not running much afterwards was definately my starter wires. checked them over real good, and saw parts that were dry rotting and cracked, replaced them and the van runs fine now

Bit cold outside to be doing anymore primering, so I need to wait until spring or, if I get another day in the 60F area, but lately its been near 35F outside, and since the van won't fit in the garage, I can't really do too much.

I should be able to save up enough to get carpet in there around Jan/Feb, or some wiring and lighting done. Or welding finally, but who knows.

Haha, all I really wanted to do was get a decent system in there and now look at all the work I've done to the van. Still haven't even bought any speakers yet, but I will eventually, hopefully have it done by early june or so.

I haven't updated this in a while, so far not much has been going as planned this year. I haven't worked on the van too much yet because of other things going on, and I've been using most of my cash on everything else around here that needed fixed, sucks but thats how it goes sometimes heh. Been hittin the gym lately/jogging etc, trying to get myself fixed up for the summer also, "didn't want to get as big as the van lol", but I've been doing a couple small things on the van, basically a couple parts some maintenance and patching up what started to rust again over the winter.

Hoping to be able to get a couple things done on the van soon.

Exempt on emissions for the 5th year in a row.
