A question though, is there a concern for imagining at all in a set up like this or is it just cover all frequencies as loud as possible? (obviously I'm not implying a disregard for distortion quality of sound) i think it covers alot of frequencies cuz i have played multiple songs and all kind of diff music and all sound good..i didnt tune it, my boy from NY did (Ralphy soundz) oh yeah, im sure it does, and does it well! I just didn't know if there was consideration for imagining inside the vehicle or not. It's kinda obvious outside the vehicle there isn't any but I don't know how you would do it outside, it would totally be dependent on where the listener is standing. Since there are tons of listeners and they stand all over the place, impossible to do it outside. But with the doors closed, does it have any kind of front stage imaging or is it just loud? I have plenty of power to play with for mids/higs, so I'm thinking of changing things up a little over the winter. EV's are MUCH more $$$ though, so I really need to make sure it's worth it. And don't tell me 2-3 sets of normal comps will keep up with 155+ of bass, it won't. I run PA stuff and do 58+ on music and my mids/highs keep up fine and sound damn good doing it. They also sound good when playing real music at low/normal volumes. It's all about xovers/slopes and a little EQ work. Clearly you havent heard a set of 'normal' comps powered and tuned correctly. DB don uses 4 sets of 6.5" mids and 4 sets of tweets and it more than keeps up with his 160+ DB daily setup just fine. I mean its one thing to not like something, but WTF!! I don't like it, and would never do it, but the amount of time and ingenuity that went into building it is awesome... We are all here for one reason. WE LOVE CAR AUDIO. You should add some more bass though really OP...
