Man you guys are lame with the bashing. I heard this in person a few weeks ago and the shit was loud and clear. How can you guys talk shit about somebody and there car because it's different? You guys have 20 18s in a truck and 1 set of 6x9s -__-. Hellboy is just on the other side of things and its something that's popular on the eastcoast foam Florida to NY as far as I know. Even at the Pulse shows they started doing a format called concert showdown which is just like the street battles and that was a popular ass format.

I'll stop posting and cluttering your thread I guess. The common conception with these threads are more of these setups are thrown in like the thread with the guy who walled with 4 more 12s in the trunk. Maybe ill hear one that doesnt sound like shit and i'll have a change of heart. I still respect the time that went into the build and doors, and the car itself looks good. Clearly this isnt the run of the mill PA system install from us talking in PMs.

Atleast he doesnt have speakers stuck inside the holes for the seatbelts.

I run PA stuff and do 58+ on music and my mids/highs keep up fine and sound damn good doing it. They also sound good when playing real music at low/normal volumes. It's all about xovers/slopes and a little EQ work.

I bet you win a lot of battles with that set up

ok since you're the foremost authority on PA stuff judging by your tone. how many PA setups have you seen setup with EQ work and things like that? For every one that's spent the time to tune in how many have you seen thats just a ton of gear shoved in a car and wailing away?

^ This is exactly what I think everytime ive seen one because 99% of them are this way. I havent yet heard one that even took the time to gain match the amps very well, so seeing anything like this normally already has a bad wrap for the thousands like it that have NO tuning whatsoever.

not everybody tunes the same..ppl like it wit alot of mids bass some ppl dont..so is hard to tune highs and mid bass..some ppl never heard a clean set up so they think they clean..

Rofl, link to pic of this 158 daily please. Clearly you havent heard a set of 'normal' comps powered and tuned correctly. DB don uses 4 sets of 6.5" mids and 4 sets of tweets and it more than keeps up with his 160+ DB daily setup just fine.

I've heard a shitload of comp set ups with plenty of power. Plus plenty of loud active set ups. At the upper 50's bass level the air movement will distort the sound of the mids/highs, but PA speakers seem to get around that. That's why I switched to them.
