I feel your pain about working in the cold, though I prefer it over working in the heat. Thank you very much. I would choose heat any time, when you are doing small jobs and not moving around a lott, this was last winter tho, the last pics shown was taken in mars.

I managed to cut right in to the bone of my left index finger, while working on the box. The tendon and a nerve was cut off, i had to fly to Stockholm for a special hand surgeon to try to fix it. The solution was to sow it together and then put on a plaster, with a rubber band pulling the finger back. They told me to take 3 months sick leave from work, since i am a farmer. Just after surgery: Home on my island again: Unfortunately a big season opening competition was only a few weeks away, so i carried on working on the car just 10 days after surgery. I got a hell of a lot of help from my team mate Albin and a couple of other mates. Felt like cutting the finger off: We then started working on the fusebox, with the option to disconnect the 3 extra batteries, and space was an issue: I then got the crazy idea to have the build done one week earlier, to go to a little competition in the north of Sweden. So i had a build day with about 10 people helping out, in exchange for burgers and beers!

I had a special surgery on it where they cut my had open and fixed it. Now i need another one to fix top part.

kaslinkov Posted December 18, 2011 Author Report Posted December 18, 2011 It was now time for the first Db drag, up in Sundsvall in the north of Sweden. We got the system playing the night before. So there was no time for tweaking, and 2 of rhe subwoofers was brand new, not played in at all... The first result was: And let's just say, i was not a happy monkey I managed to get 146.9 on the first day, and it got me in second place with the winner playing just 0.3 db more. On the second day, there was only me in street c, so they put me up in super street instead. Managed 147.0 with 2 batteries: I then connected the other 3 as well(since i was in ss) witch got me to the final with 148.1 db I lost big tho to Jimmy who played 153 something.

I did a little tweaking and rounded of the port a bit, in the week between the competitions. I was really hoping for a much better result, but voltage was an issue. And in the bassrace qualify i burnt a woofer The first day was a 1x and ended with a win in street C, with only 2 subs playing 145.5 db The second and third day was the 3X and got me a second place with 144.8 db The fourth day was a 1x and i got a second place again with 145.5 db On the way home i burnt a second woofer It was now time for a change of woofers! Problem was that, because of me working in filth with my injured finger, i got a really bad infection and was hospitallised for 5 days The good thing was that i had time to plan the rebuild of woofers. Well anyway, this was the new plan: (but other woofers) Steel front with 2x 15" woofers and a 8" port. My new sponsor AI-GROUP sent me these bad boys for a really good price: Ground zero GZNW 15" SPL 30kg woofer rated at 6500watt spl power. I love them!
