nickgallegos Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 If you are referring to just Alpine Type R subs I just ordered one last friday. I read that they are some of the best mid price level subs out there.
poorfish88 Posted August 9, 2011 Report Posted August 9, 2011 I installed a 15 in a ported box on about 600 watts. It's the old R with the non rippled surround rated at 500 watts. Not bad but not great, if you can get em cheap sure'.

I have them running on a kenwood 9015d at 2 ohm and they really hit hard. I will eventually run two kenwood 9105d's. 1 per sub Until I run 4 subs.
