rickyfromthe407 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 Alright guys, so if you haven't seen my build, lets just say I got the Rockford T2500-1bd I ran into a few problems with tuning and am not sure what it was. So I hopped on here & youtube. and found this video from meade. Basically, he tunes the amp with a DD1 and even though the DD1 doesn't show clipping, the amp shows clipping. Anybody know why? I am a bit stumped. meade916 Posted August 5, 2011 Report Posted August 5, 2011 the red light doesnt necessarily mean its clipping....its just a LED for looks. not only that, but the DD-1 measures distortion not just clipping.
