I've been running them hard for almost 2yrs I push 3k through them. At 1st I would lose a single one due to my error usually clipping it at idle trying to play something below tuning so I did that single sub recones a couple times.then I reconed all 4 to a higher ohm load didn't like the way it sounded wasn't as loud so I reconed a week later all 4 back down. Come to find out I had a rca unplugged on my slave amp so who knows what it would of sounded like. I used those subs for about 6 months and they were the loudest so far did a 156.1 the my dumb ass put 2 9ks strapped on them ripped a spider and its been all down hill fromm there I've reconed 9 of them since then. I had a gremlin show up that was putting a high power clip through my subs I think I got it figuered out a matter of fact I'm rewireing everthing as I speak. So long story short the xls are fantastic subs. I'm pushing way over there rated power and they only blow because of my error. If I wanted what's loud for most people they would easily still be on the original set but I don't I want kick in your face blurr your vision bass and my numbers and wins in the lanes prove that. Dc ftw

Without a doubt Ray is a true competitor. Always pushing his system beyond it's limits. Of course there will be damage as a result. It's this drive that has gotten him from a solid 154 to breakin a 56. Props to him for raising the bar of what's loud.

Designing, building, and shipping boxes. Yahoo IM - kingsuv00If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

not many cars can get me to pluggin my ears but this one.......damn. I mean the first minute is ok but that thing just really starts digging deeper and deeper in your earhole till you cant stand it no more. Seems like it does it with relative ease....16 12's on 8 amps.........gotta love it. :)
