AQ 2200 gain setting

im running a 9515 DD on an AQ 2200 with a 90 A stock alt and big three, anyone know kinda wherish the gain should be set at? so i can hook up today =)

so where would maybe a safeish place be for the gain? my rfriend who has a 9512 DD says all you have to do is put the gain up until it starts to smell, he said you could clip a DD all day long and not have problems since their soo strong, but idk

Safest way since your electrical is a lil bit on the low side would be to utilize the clipping indicator on the remote knob...

A very little bit of the red light flashing is ok... but once it starts to stay lit... back down on the gain some...
