When you say 400$ set... which ones come to mind for you ray?

2 Fi btl n2 18's

1 dc audio 5k

1 dc audio 175.4

4 sets of fusion CP-CM50 components

1 mechman 270 amp alt

3 XS Power D3400

80 Mil Sound Deadener by audio technix

all in my 2003 chevy suburban.

Try pro audio mids, they run at 8 ohm so you increase the number of woofers without raising impedance and they will be louder than any comp set. With a little processing and tuning they will sound great also.

Yeah... Make sure you add in the cost of a processor and tuning to your pro audio set.

Loud? Sure..

Yea not going to blow in on 1 set. I would go 2 sets and 200 that are pretty good quality

That is just my advice.

Since i own a 04 suburban. I thought it was good advice.

Ive had roughly 35 different sets of front door speakers in my truck.

From 120 comps to 1400.00 comps and now a pretty simple 3 way set.

Ill take 3 way all day.
