regal8r Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 - to - doesnt have to be directly connecting the batteries...ground is the whole frame/body/anything that is unpainted metal Quote
ChevyBoy Posted October 21, 2006 Author Report Posted October 21, 2006 ok thats what i was wondering. which is a better? battery to battery and no chassis involved? so its wired wire now to get a higher voltage? if it is, im only seeing 14.5. shouldnt it be higher then? Quote
regal8r Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 the best ground will ALWAYS be directly back to the battery if u have have + of one battery connected to the - of the other battery ur voltage should be around 26-29 volts...if u have it + to + thats where the voltage should be Quote
ChevyBoy Posted October 21, 2006 Author Report Posted October 21, 2006 ok so im receiving the best amount of current then too? Quote
regal8r Posted October 21, 2006 Report Posted October 21, 2006 yes...add the rated amperage values of both batteries together and thats what u have Quote
