So i made a trip to my local car audio shop to look for some wire(but only found overprice rockford 4 gauge for 3.99ft) and the salesman was quite intriqued with my new system im putting in. I told him i was putting in a dc level 3 15 running off a hfi1000.1. He then responded with what i believe is the funniest thing i have heard "Why didnt you just buy a 12w7 from us?"(diehard jl dealer). I took it as a joke then found him being completely serious, and i responded "you know your comparing a 200$ sub and an 800$ sub right?" and he was like "yeah but i mean, its jl".I then preceded to leave empty handed and with a smile on my face

Lol that's too funny. Same thing happened to me only I was looking for a 1/0 fuse holder and the guy didn't have any. What kind of stereo shop doesn't have at least one 1/0 fuse holder in stock? Not even a 1/0 wiring kit. I lol'd all the way home.

Exactly! I ended up going to some interstate battery store and left my name and number, and the guy said he would check with some commercial buisness to see if he could get me a deal, the guy said he bought 50 feet of 0 gauge 10 years ago for like 25 bucks, damn you inflation

honestly you cant expect a shop who will sell 0 foot of that 1/0 to you to stock it. much less a fuse holder he will never put in a customers car.

Most shops carry mainstream brands because its what everyone knows and what will sell.

I mean very true, because most people dont shop around for 0 gauge. But the company carried it two years ago but stopped carrying it cause it wasnt a rockford project
