Not really an audio question

I have 2 LED light strips I am wanting to put inside my car but they're not just regular light strips. These are actually lights that go on the front of the car to act as running lights. They have 3 wires coming out of the lights: a ground, a red wire and a yellow wire. The instructions say that the yellow wire goes to your blinker wire and the red goes to your factory running lights. I was going to use the same idea for the inside. I want to have switch that turns on the lights and a way to make the lights flash with the music when I want. I know I need a relay and a switch but what more do I need? I was thinking 2 switches, one to turn the lights on and another to energize the relay to beat with the music. Anything else? I can wire it I just need some input on where to wire it to and some suggestions on where to mount the lights. They're going in an 05 Altima.

For music to light ull need a controller.

never though of that, it might just work. try at your own risk though. Let us know how it goes... Those controllers are cheap though many PC shops will sell them.

Don't do that. And all a light controller will do is make it blink. It will be annoying, not like a LED meter.

Relay's are not necessary, just switches for positive to the red and yellow wires.
