hey everyone one i was wondering what does the size of a magnet do does it make the subwoofer louder and does the type of magnet affect it to and what kind of magnets are in the audio que 2.0 10 inch subwoofers

Not necessarily. There is more to a magnet than pure size.

Yep. Neodymium magnets (commonly referred to as "neos") pound for pound have a stronger magnetic field than ferrite magnets. Again, there's more to what makes a speaker "louder" than the magnet.

They use 80 oz double stacked ferrite magnets.

Hopefully someone like NDMStang, Sundownz, or Electrodynamic can step in here and give you more specific information.

All that said, if the enclosure you build is complete crap, a lower end subwoofer WILL outperform a "better" sub. 90% install, 10% equipment.
