AJ8B6V
I removed my Ignition switch because it was bad. It was causing truck not to start and turn off randomly. I would tap on little black box under cylinder lock and it would work. Its mounted under the keys on the steering column. But i broke a part while removing the switch. I broke the actuator. Here are pics.

CleanSierra
Haha....yeah he wants to replace it. I told him to call the dealership in the morning. I'm bot sure they'll have steering column parts for a truck older than 10 years old. I've never seen one of this break either, but it's plastic so it's not surprising.
