I am a noob, and this is my first post, but this box is my first fiberglass attempt and its for a friend and no I am not

trying to make money off of it, just made him buy materials. I would like all the criticism be it good or bad

that I can get to better my future projects. Hope you like the pink cammo (almost as good as gp2k2's flower material.

Thanks for lookin. Oh and sorry couldn't get the pics loaded up right.

is that......body filler in the last pic? if so, how many layers of glass did you put on?

yes, its bondo glass and I did 4 layers, its hard as a brick and has lots of curves for strength, but yeah its not sanded, havent gotten that far, but I will post more pics when I get there.

Looks real good man, specaily for your first try. But one thing, its gonna be a bitch to sand down that bondo glass filler. I would suggest using regular filler unless you got the tools to get that glass filler crap smooth.

started off good. gonna be kinda hard to get it all nice. use a grinder, it will save you a lot of time. and when you make your next box try to make it so that you can add the glass to the back instead of on top and it saves you a lot of time and headache.

thanks, got a grinder, not the best but it works, and I am still goin back with regular filler, for the smoothness, this was for strength and to build up low spots with less chance of cracking later on, but its ported and wont flex at all, I can stand on it and I weigh 280 lol

I got a lil further on the box, ain't been pushing the build too hard because he isn't in a hurry and why rush it when you don't have to. You only mess up that way, thats what my experiences have taught me.
