2 Kicker solo x 18 box build (Tunning)

Recommended Posts

Go for a regular ported box.

Around 1200cm^2 ort, around 50cm length

approximate volume (including woofer displacement, port displacement) = 450-550L.

Will be tuned in the 32-34hz area.

Will rock the shit out of most stuff.

Now: I hope u didnt just get these woofers with less than +5kw power? and less than 5 batteries or HO alternator? Otherwise you are fucked.

I will have 4 rockford 2500 and 4 batteries and alter too :)

but what is dimentions in meter or inch to get a 32 hz box

If you mean 5kw each, then they will blow if you mean 5kw for 2 then it's gonna be on the edge..

Solo X's don't really like a lot of power, 2000 watt should be better since he seems to be a beginner..

They can handle more then 2.5kw but not much more, certainly not 5kw RMS as advertised.

Hmm, I have seen a single Solo X 18 on over 5K RMS, and it handled it pretty damn good! I think it REALLY depends on the setup and install. But your rt, since he is a beginner, 2500 watts w/be better for him.
