optical Posted August 27, 2011 Report Share Posted August 27, 2011 Well ill be starting my first fiberglassed doors real soon here and am looking at locations for the tweeter for the most part. I start with the pictures. The first two pictures are obviously the passenger side. The car is a 1997 grand prix. I am just looking at insight on where a tweet would sound well and where to angle it. Stock location is a 5.25 but i have pretty much made up my mind on getting a rainbow 3 way set Or hertz 3 way set. Should i cut off the stock speaker mount so it flat or build off of it? Would you like clearence dimension say from middle of factory location to door jam or to dash or would you like depth and width of that actually factory pod?
