SPL Dynamics ICE-3500d or Hifonics Brutus BRZ 2400.1d

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone.

Thanks for reading my topic. I would like to have some help in choosing between the two mono amps below,

SPL Dynamics ICE-3500d (300Amps FUSE)

Max Power: 8000W

RMS Power Rating (@ 14.4V):

RMS @ 4OHM : 700W x 1 chan.

RMS @ 2OHM : 1500W x 1 chan.

RMS @ 1OHM : 2500W x 1 chan.

RMS @ 0.5OHM : 3500W 0,15%thd x 1 chan.

RMS @ 0,5OHM : 4000W 1%thd x 1 chan.

VS...

Hifonics Brutus BRZ 2400.1d (250Amps FUSE)

RMS Power Rating (@ 14.4V):

4 ohms: 850 watts x 1 chan.

2 ohms: 1700 watts x 1 chan.

1 ohm: 2400 watts x 1 chan.

Probably both of them are good amps but which would I choose between the two?

I want to run my Orion HCCA 15.2 the best way possible.

Please help me choose.

Thank you in advance.
