When we were building this box I really thought i took more pictures than this. putting the box/amp/sub in my car. A pain in the butt especially by yourself. Colin - STAPUFT Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 You running RCAs from a Sub out on the Head Unit? Sub could be turned off on the Head Unit. Also- double check to be sure you don't have something crazy with your crossovers- as in high pass / low pass. I've done that before- one crossed one way and another crossed the other, and get virtually no sound. vettedude102 Posted February 5, 2012 Author Report Posted February 5, 2012 sub setting is on. I didn't mess with any of the filters on the amp. I had it in there before and it played just fine. All I did was mount the amp to the box. I even tried the front and rear preouts on the headunit. still nothing. Amp powers on just no sound. Also tried another set of RCA's. 727Designs Posted February 5, 2012 Report Posted February 5, 2012 Check the resistance on the coils to make sure you don't have a dead coil, but also check the voltage at the RCA's to make sure they are putting out.
