I'm tired of not having any cargo space, buying stuff and just turning around and selling it, blah, blah, blah. I still want a little bass but I think my days of flex and the like are over. Anyway, I've been shopping around for something in the $150 range. It seems like my best bet would be a powered sub as I lack the necessary box building skills. RooTxBeeR Posted September 2, 2011 Report Posted September 2, 2011 Get a low powered shallow mount sub build a small enclosure for it and there you go, you keep a lot of space, still have some decent bass. Of course it's not rattling your car bass, more sound quality since it's not vibrating like hell and you hear it more. Just a suggestion. My box building skills suck, so it'll probably take me a long time to get it right. That's why I was looking at the powered subs. Besides that everything was easy, took me 2 days to build it. I know places sell tub subs and what not just gatta keep looking around. donovanl12 Posted September 4, 2011 Report Posted September 4, 2011 You could look on Crutchfield for some ideas, they have a lot of powered subs, then find the one you want cheaper elsewhere.
