nice work on the glassing! looks like its taking a good period of time!

yeah its been taking time, but a lot of the elapsed time was with no progress. work is way to busy to want to go out to a cold garage and work more, so that is why so much time between progress spots.

but i have a few more pics loading right now so soon i will have a little more progress.

well here was tonights progress.

working on the dash and the speaker plates for them.

i didnt get any build pics of this filler for the defrost vent, but it is SOLID shredded fg with resin not just resin

here is where the 4x6 plates will reside.

the 1/2" MDF plates

and the 4x6 that will go in it

now to make the 4x6 fit in the plates

here is my small circle maker. not the best to use, but it actually works great when you keep it sharp.

then made a quick template with the holes properly spaced

testing to make sure it fits the speakers properly.............yep i had to make 2, but thats why you make a template first right?

now to trace the form on the actual plates. then i use brad nails to fasten both the template and finished piece together during the routing process.

now to make the edges not so square.

speakers fit pretty good

and the dash with the plates installed

then texture the plates

thats all i got done tonight, but should be able to get more soon!!!!
